Yellow is his favourite colour on me.
There used to be a time when he used to quote Coldplay's yellow
"You know I love you so."
Naive as I was, I believed it to be some sort of statement reserved for us.
And then as time passed, roles reversed and I was the creature that could not be desired because if I was, he would have to give up everything he was doing, and he could not afford to do that.
So he forgot me. For four whole years he sidelined me, contacting me only when he needed solace.
I wasn't the best either. I gave him the worst when I expected the best from him .
What came of it?
Tears and lack of trust.
And it was all yellow.
